The Glorious Wave

5 movies for the Christmas Season

With the Christmas season coming, it’s tiiiiiiiime (to read with Mariah Carey’s voice – please) to turn on your TV, stay home for the day and watch your fav Christmas movie. Don’t know what to watch ? Take a look at some of the ideas I’ve gathered for you !

1. Home Alone

A Christmas CLASSIC. Do I really need to say anything else ?

2. Let It Snow

A Netflix movie with multiple stories of love and friendship in the same time (so multiple point of view). This movie is based on a novel named Let It Snow: Three Holiday Romances by John Green (yes the The Fault in Our Stars John Green), Maureen Johnson and Lauren Miracle.

3. Klaus

A really good animated film to spend Christmas with your family.

It was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2020 (but lost to Toy Story 4, sadly…).

4. Love Actually

It is one of the most popular Christmas movie, and also one of the greatest ! This romantic comedy combines a Christmas in London and really good musics (such as Dido’s ‘Here With Me’). For those of you who don’t know this movies, we follow eight different stories that are more or less linked to each others. A must see !

5. Dash & Lily

This New York romance is really cute for the Christmas season. This Netflix show is based on three novels: Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares;

The Twelve Day of Dash & Lily and Mind the Gap, Dash & Lily (take some noted before you watch the show because you will want to read them ;).
